Good deal on Miles from AMS
As the revenue miles reward system is in full swing I am having a bit of an issue in judging if a miles figure is a good one.
I am looking for AMS GYE in miles in November for 79.000 with KLM one way in J. Feels like lower then that it will not be in the future (except promo award offer) Or have people seen it lower? Would appreciate input. |
I don't know if it helps, but this weekend I booked AMS-LAX in Y for 35,000 and LAX-SFO-AMS (DL, KL) in J for 111,500, total 146,500. Personally I think the J reward fare is a bit high, as there were lower ones for different dates, but worth it for me, as it combined nicely with a cash ticket on the same dates for a lowish fare allowing to travel with the SO!

Many South American award prices actually became lower under the new system, and availability is solid. 79k to every city on the continent (except EZE and SCL) is pretty solid in my book, taking into consideration that cash prices can be very high.
