A few Belgian options (Leffe, La Chouffe, Duvel, La Trappe) and/or Dutch special ones (Brouwerij 't ij) would be great..
Also a 1 or 2 additional lager options aside from Heineken (Jupiler, Hertog Jan to pick a few favorites)
La Trappe is Dutch.

Based on the experience of French restaurants filled with American tourists (200-300 everyday), what 99% of them ask is Heineken, Heineken and nothing else but Heineken. Heineken seems to be the symbol of a "true, real European beer", even when barmen insist on offering locally brewed beers. I don't blame KLM for focusing on only one highly requested beer.
I was at the presentation of KLM house 95 in the Heineken experience. They have very intimate ties.
That's very much true indeed, but still it doesn't make much sense to me. Heineken has a near 100% name recognition. Surely it would do no harm to them to deliver other beers which they own such as Affligem? Not my favourite choice, but far better than Heineken and certainly acceptable. It might even help Heineken to showcase some of their lesser known brands out of their portfolio to an international public.
Or they could also offer Starobrno or Zlatý Bažant as mainstream beer to please the two Czech/Slovak users who posted above me if I'm not mistaken Heineken fully owns them?
