KLM 787 business class seat footwell and bed space.
 

Hey folks. How is the KLM 787 business class bulkhead seat (eg 1a) vs the other rows. Do you get more leg room when lying down in bed position? How is the footwell space? What row is better? Front or 2+?

Some airlines give eztre room at the front while others give less.

Flew back from Beijing on one yesterday, originally had 2G but was asked to swap to 3K by a chap who's wife and child were in row 2. Happily obliged, I got a window seat behind my wife, (2k) and moved away from the squeaker !

Have to say, I didn't find the seat comfortable in any way, shape or form, thinly padded, lumpy har moulding on the right hand side, and kept catching the seat control buttons with my elbow.

It was a 9.5 hour day flight though, so didn't want that much sleep anyway.
