Amsterdam disruption.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol - System outage Air Traffic Control

KLM is experiencing a major disruption at Schiphol as a result of technical failure at Air Traffic Control The Netherlands (LVNL). So far, more than 80 European one-way flights have been cancelled. At the same time, KLM is struggling with major delays resulting from the disruption. We advise our customers to check KLM.com for the latest information concerning arrival and departure times. KLM regrets the inconvenience this is causing our passengers. As a result of the many cancellations and delays, the response time of our service centers is longer than expected. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience. For the latest updates see the flight disruption page.

Still some knock-on effects... they just cancelled one of my flights for tonight and blamed the outage.
Reservations hotline rebooked me on another carrier pretty quickly though.

Also my 2 flights on that day cancelled. What do you think - any chance for compensation under article 261?

KLM is in no way responsible for ATC, and cannot therefore be held in any way responsible for ATC outages.

No compensation would be payable for ATC outage reasons - the airline is compelled to observe ATC restrictions for reasons of safety and procedure and the fault is not KLM's.
