Second that.

Privium membership rates will go up by almost 10% in October. The best thing they could do with the extra money is to invest it in dedicated Privium security lanes.

I complained last year about the mixing of these lines and now again - told them we don't need a lounge (we have KLM and PP) but a core product that is not as good as it was, that seems not the time to raise the fees.
I am sure the reply will be similar as when I complained about mixing with Priority - 'we try to optimise our product to your wishes'.

More info here (in Dutch).

KL says the strike action will "most likely" cause disruptions.

The unions are demanding salary increases of 4% per year, KL is offering 6% over three years.

Do we expect this to also affect other airlines? Flying tomorrow at noon with Aegean. Handling is not done by KLM, but I'm scared that the effects will be noticeable for all ops around AMS.

KL has now announced that they will scrap 10 shorthaul flights tomorrow morning, but they have yet to decide which ones.

They are thinking about it!

Edited at 7 p.m. to add that they are apparently still thinking. Not a single KL departure from AMS between 6 and 12 noon is showing as canceled yet.

Out of 81 KL departures (including codeshares) scheduled between 8 and 10 a.m., six left on time. Half of those were codeshares.

All other flights that have not been canceled are just showing as "scheduled", as are all flights between 10 and 12 noon, with the exception of three codeshares.
