Back to Back Ticketing - KLM

I read somewhere that the EC was going to allow back to back ticketing, however I never saw any final approval.

Here's my scenario: I need to fly 2 round trips, each for one day to the same destination. If I buy nested tickets, it is almost 200 Euros cheaper.

For example:

AMS->MUC December 11th - Ticket A ------------------
MUC->AMS December 12th - Ticket B --- |
| Nested |
| |
AMS-MUC December 22nd - Ticket B ---- |
MUC->AMS December 23rd - Ticket A --------------------

is cheaper than 2 tickets AMS<-MUC->AMS.

Is this illegal on KLM, or perfectly OK? I intend to fly all segments, and will have connecting flights to / from AMS on KLM paid on separate ticket by my employer.

Thanks

No problem, at one point this year I was in the middle of 5 different nested tickets on KL.

AFAIK, it is not forbidden, so there is no need to allow it.

As long as you use the ticket following the ticket rules (fly segments in sequential order etc), where would the problem be?

There is nothing illegal doing this. The airlines may not like it but it's been going on for as long as I remember.

Most of the time, I'm using back-to-back/nested/cross ticketing to reduce travel costs.

Some years ago, a representative from KLM called me to discuss this 'as it was not allowed'. I politely asked her if I understood her correctly that she wanted me to book every second ticket needed to let this work at another carrier? Was she really asking me if I could please take 50% of my business elsewhere? She asked some time to talk to her supervisor. I hang up and still awaiting her feedback.
