I don't see how anyone who has a choice would ever choose KL over TK on this route. The latter offers a vastly superior J product in every respect.

No OLCI upgrades offered CPH-AMS yesterday, by the way, but J had been reduced to two rows, with only one seat available.

£505 for TPE-AMS.

I actually made an upgrade bid for €350 and have heard sod all from KLM as to whether it was accepted (apparently not) or rejected or whether the AFKL IT system is too just sh*t to handle it. I was the only bidder.

I tried to buy an upgrade on board a 777 yesterday. The Purser's iPad showed that I had status with DL, but my mileage balance showed n/a, so unless I wanted to pay €750 for a TATL upgrade, she couldn't do it.

Does anyone have an estimate of what the miles price might have been?

15K-45K depends on booking class.

No luck on upgrade bidding, even I was the only bidder...
Online check in shows GBP 460 for biz upgrade.

Hm, that tempers my expectations for a bid I put in... that, and the fact that there are no C seats available anymore for my particular flight at the moment.
Still: fingers crossed!

Last weekend: UIO-AMS, small posters at the check in "inquire for a special fare for a relaxing trip", 850US..... they checkin staff said the day before was "really cheap", 309US, since the plane was overbooked.

Last Thursday: AMS-DEL, €349,- to business (747 full pax) or economy comfort for 50 euro.

Did they even bother putting up the curtain given an empty J cabin?
How many rows were blocked for the empty J cabin?

I was not on this flight, but seat map showed two rows, which is the minimum possible.

I mean, to quote, it's a "journey of luxury," all the way from Amsterdam to Berlin!
All that for only €99!

I "guess," it's better than the recent €199 AMS-OSL and €149 AMS-LHR I got recently at OLCI.
