Brilliant! Might be worth seeing if it'll let you upgrade for miles, its the kind of stupid floating point number software bug that might give you the upgrade for minus 300 million miles, which then gets credited to your account......

29SEP PRG-AMS €69 on a 295.

Didn't take it as plenty unallocated seats in comfy.

E90 to LCY this morning, 69€ with two occupied and one blocked across two rows.

I expected the flight to be full, not so yet. Perhaps the people from the morning cancelled LHR and LCY will only start checking in in the airport. is online now

VLC-AMS on E295, €89. I took it just to get the extra space next to me (Y cabin was full) and gambled on having 2 seats to myself (5/8 empty during OLCI).

I gambled correctly, so I did have the 2 seats to myself. Only to then after "meal" service have someone from KL wanting to sit there to study aircraft / cockpit things on an iPad with interactive courses.

Ofcourse they had that right and I did so without struggle, but made it a bit sour I paid 89 EUR for that. 2A was also empty and would have been next to a standby crew member flying back to AMS, but instead they decided it'd be good for me to remove everything from 1F's table (iPad Pro, wallet, phone) and move it over to 1D's table instead (where I had a powerbank, bottle of cava, glass, bag of cheese crackers, and charging cable).

Kept the iPad on my lap for the remainder of the episode and then stowed everything. Those tables _are not_ big enough for an 12.9" iPad in addition to a drink, snack and powerbank.

Offered £51 for EDI/AMS this morning on the app. Only 2 of 20 business class seats were occupied until a third at the last minute so perhaps someone took up the offer.

Offered £670 AMS/NRT economy to business class. Interestingly not offered on app initially but offered by check-in agent at EDI as I was dropping my bags off. Did consider but declined as travelling with colleagues. The offer then appeared on the app. There were only 4 seats showing unoccupied and 1 of which was subsequently taken.

I’m travelling back alone and could be tempted if there’s a similar offer available. Anyone know if it works in a similar manner on AF? I’ve a KL ticket but returning on AF. Would I be better downloading the AF app and checking in there or would any offer also be on the KL app?

It works in similar manner but it's hard to predict if you will have a similar cost offer. KLM app will be enough for you. is online now

Sat 21 October:

Y-W €419
Y-C €1099 or 112k FB miles

I chose the W product (wanted to try it, really enjoyed it). Was asked by the purser to upgrade to C (one seat left), miles only, again 112K. Found this a bit strange, normally the price of W upgrade would have been somehow deducted.
