Makes sense if availability is J1.....

Wondering, does anyone of you has got this offer when travelling with a partner linked (done at OLCI or PNR) to your reservation?

I did fly stockholm to barcelona via amsterdam yesterday. í Checked in online but wasn´t offered anything, when i come to amsterdam i check my connection and changed my seat to an exit row but i wasn´t offered any upgrade. During boarding the machine beeps which is normal when you have an exit row, however they upgraded me to c-class and seat 1f, ok , fine with me, but i don´t get it why they give it away if they are trying to sell these upgrades?

Not offered for me as Silver or travel partner (nothing) yesterday on AMS-GVA in R. EF showed Y(total)6 and J(total)5.
At check-in, the lady offered me "economy comfort" because I asked if there were anymore seats to the front.

Found out something interesting yesterday:

It seems op up is offered on a PNR basis. So if you travel with someone without status, they will receive the same offer you do.

Had that yesterday when travelling with an Ivory colleague. We didn't go for the paid upgrade but nevertheless received the OpUp. No food though but who cares for a 1h flight.

Well, if no one actually accepted these paid offers they would have no option than OpUps. The problem is that people actually accept these offers!

Same here. Looks like the stagger the upgrade pricing: 79€ for everything below 750miles. Above that it is 119€ for intra-Europe.
