Fare & award availability

I need to change booked flight date from TLV-BCN to the 17th of September. AFKL TLV say all flights are fully booked. However, when i checked my FB account for TLV-BCN R\T surprisingly award tickets available for 30K miles roundtrip. I don't want to use my private miles for a business trip  I guess i may need to fly LY or LX or IB as last resort.

Your fare class might be fully booked...not the flight in itself.

According to your post nothing seems to be any worse than AF so this is a win win situation for you

yeah, but AF\LK does not allow booking of separate flights and connection < 60min. is very risky CDG&AMS. Maybe w expedia that's possible. I pointed out that with award flights there is availability which is very weird.

There are destinations afkl offers better schedules. Y classes are same with all airlines. I choose price, schedule, penalties and mileage. With LY there problems with connecting flights. Both airlines gives as low as 25% for discounted fares. However, it is easier I think to gain\keep status with AF. I don't have experience with miles and more.
