$19 Between Baltimore & Boston. Must be booked today

I just saw on the jetblue website they have a 1 day special for $19 between boston and baltimore. This sale is only today and good between Sept 9th and Nov 19th.

Is there any chance another airline will match this sale?

I doubt other airlines will match this sale since its a one day sale only. This type of thing is designed to catch people attention and get them to book JetBlue rather them to set at home and do nothing. Nothing more than an impulse purchase. My guess is that (no really all that suprising) these flights between BOS and BWI are below the line when it comes to profitability.

I see airtran did match the $19 fare. I really would have liked to fly with jet blue but airtran had more flights per day and more $19 fares then jet blue had.

Yeah... I saw that post in the Airtran forum this morning. Looks like I was wrong about another airline matching a one day sale. Are there really that many people buying tickets from Boston to Baltimore on a $19 each way impulse? Nevertheless, I'm glad to see JetBlue giving other carriers a run for their money. Turf war perhaps?
