Jet Blue 'upgrades' to extra space

I am flying JB Jax to JFK next week, first time on JB... is the $20 for extra leg room worth it?

How tall are you? I'm 5'6 and it doesn't make as much difference to me as it does to my boss who's 6'2.

When I fly with him, I always am looking to get the most amount of leg room to accomadate him. But when I fly without him, I'm not as concern as I am with him. I just book myself flight EWR-FLL next for next month on B6. I took row 9 both ways and it will suit me fine.

Are you in 9 window? That seat won't recline just in case you weren't aware.. As for JAX-JFK (Yay, my neighborhood), if you are taking the 16:30 departure that will operate on the E190. Only row 12, the exit row, has the 38 inch pitch. If you don't want to pay for it, my suggestion would be to take rows 13-25 as they have 1 inch more legroom than 1-11.

Yes, and I did know that when I book, but I never recline my seat anyways. Long story why but I'll spare the details.

Without looking - Is JAX - JFK on a 320? I thought they had 190's down there now.

Flights 611 and 619 (JFK-JAX) are on the A320.
Flights 610 and 612 (JAX-JFK) are on the A320.

Flights 615 (JFK-JAX) and 616 (JAX-JFK) are on the E190.

That's good to see for that route. Is most of the traffic on that route O&D or Connecting at JFK?

I would assume that the majority of the traffic is O&D between JFK and JAX, though I'm sure there are a decent amount of connecting passengers to BUF/ROC/SYR/BTV/PWM. Keep in mind that BOS has a non-stop flight, which tends to do well. I hope it goes up to 2x next winter - it could probably support it.

Exactly why I was asking. With the rumors that have come out about BOS being expanded and more E190s expect to come in this year, my curiousity has been running wild.

I am 5'10" tall, but love a little extra leg room.

I am on flt 616 at 430PM. Seat 12C...

So your on the 190 and in the EML exit row seats. Row 12 is the only row that has EML on the 190 like JAX2BOS said.
