Does B6 have a power outlet for Laptops?

No, they do not.
Some would say that you don't need them since JetBlue provides LiveTV for your entertainment, but that ignores the fact that not everyone wants to watch TV on the flight. |
Power ports on 4+ hour flights are important for those of us who work on the airplane. Battery swaps are annoying when you are in the middle of something.

I can make it 6 on my batteries if I am judicious in my use, but that also means it will be pretty much dead when I land and also limits media play to reduce HD activity and extend the battery life. |
I wish that JetBlue would provide convenient 110V power outlets (and maybe even rows of small desks) in all airport gate areas.
My laptop battery lasts about 4 hours, so I can rely on the battery for all but the longest domestic flights. However, if I have to use up half of the battery life waiting for my departure (especially when the departure is delayed), then I can only get a limited amount of work done on the flight. In June, when I missed my JetBlue connection at JFK (and spent 6 hours at JFK), I really appreciated the 110V power outlets at JetBlue's concourse. Alas, I couldn't find any power outlets when I flew Jet Blue out of Chicago-O'Hare last week — so my battery didn't last all the way to Long Beach. I have to think that adding some 110V outlets at airports is much less expensive than equipping aircraft with Empower outlets or 110V outlets. |

JFK has some power poles that have been installed and BOS just got some as well as JAX2BOS stated. |

We just got some at a few of our gates in BOS, but it's courtesy of Massport. We would like to provide our Wifi in BOS but because Massport charges the $9.95 we are unable to do so at this time.
JFK T5 is going to have the Samsung power poles, too, but I didn't see too many places there were going to be outlets other than those. Of course the vast majority of the interior wasn't actually built when we went for the tour so I have no idea what it will really be like. Anyone who goes on 8/23 should be able to see I'd guess. |
didn't want to start a new thread with the exact same title, so I decided to bump up this old thread from 2008.
it is now 2012.... does JetBlue still have no power outlet on its planes? A320 or EM190. |
From 1F on the A320s you can sometimes reach the plug by the 1R door. Otherwise, nothing.

Disappointed on a 320 BOS - RSW recently to have no outlet; plane was fairly shabby overall. Guess this was a "we don't need to 'cater to' a leisure market" experience?

If you want to know whether your flight will have power outlets, look for either a tail number in the N8xxJB series (which you won't know until it pulls up to the gate if you don't have the right tools to look it up otherwise) which will have power outlets in Even More Space, or check the seat map. If the seat map shows 27 rows (slimlines) and not 25 rows (unrefreshed cabin), then you have an aircraft that has power outlets in every row. |
