Goes to show how up to date the participate's knowledge is about the airline industry and the competition out there. A few months ago, I knew someone who said they had an upcoming flight on Eastern. My reaction = It turns out that the last time they flew, it was on Eastern out of Newark. So, when her husband told here they were flying to Florida from Newark, she assumed it was Eastern like last time. Turns out that it was CO.

Another one last week, this time about making row 1 an EML row and charging for it...
'Twould be a shame, as that's a great way to get free EML-ish seating so long as it isn't a red-eye.

Firstly, we’d like to get your opinion on sitting in the first row of the aircraft. How would you rate the first row?
Please select one response only.
I love it, it’s my favorite place to sit
It’s one of my preferred places to sit
It’s ok, I will sometimes try to sit there
I don’t really care if I sit there or not
I don’t like to sit in the first row
No opinion
What is it about the first row that you like?
Please select all that apply.
I like being up front
I like the extra legroom
The extra ‘living’ space is nice
I get off the plane first
Other, please tell us:
We’re interested in what you would think if the first row in the cabin became part of our Even More Legroom product – so you could reserve a seat in the front row for a charge, just like you’re currently able to with our Even More Legroom seats.
What do you think of this change?
Please select one response only.
I like it, I would like the option to pay an extra charge to reserve a seat in the front row
No real opinion about this change
Not a fan of this change
Why did you select the answer above?
Who in their right mind would enjoy the option to pay more for something they now receive for free??
Plus, while it has slightly more legroom the bulkhead makes it difficult to extend your legs fully so it really isn't the same as the other ELR seats. Charging the same for an inferior product isn't a good plan.
Have you ever purchased an Even More Legroom seat on JetBlue?
Please select one response only.
Yes
No
Can't recall
Other than legroom, are there any other benefits you enjoy when purchasing an Even More Legroom seat?
Please select all that apply.
Sometimes, the middle seat stays empty
I like Even More Legroom seats that are located in the front of the aircraft
I get to exit the airplane quicker if I select a seat in the front of the cabin
The early boarding feature that comes with Even More Legroom
Early access to overhead bin space
Other, please tell us:

Apparently the headsets are next in line for an upgrade....
We’re interested to get your thoughts on the headsets JetBlue currently sells at the airport and onboard for $2.
<I forgot to copy the question but something about what do you have/use on B6 flights>?

- I typically purchase headsets on board or in the airport before the flight
- I bring inexpensive headsets bought on a previous flight
- I bring moderately-priced headsets (i.e. Sony brand with a $25-$50 price point)
- I bring premium headsets (i.e. Bose Quiet Comfort)
- Other headsets, please tell us
- I don’t use headsets on JetBlue flights
- Yes
- No
- Can't recall
- Every time I fly
- Occasionally when I fly
- Only when I forget my headset at home
- I don’t buy JetBlue headsets anymore
- Overhead style (current version)
- In-ear style (“earbuds”)

I received two surveys this morning. The second one dealt with snacks. Asking what they should and should not offer. It gave me the feeling that they are thinking about eliminating the "free" snacks/drinks or looking to cut back as much as they can on what is FREE.

Have they expanded the JetViews program?
I registered two years ago, which was also the last time I flew B6. I'd never been solicited for a survey until recently (the headset and the snacks surveys mentioned above).
