Jetting To Green
It wasn't too long ago that an environmental PR was issued by the company. I'm sure some of you have noticed, being it's on the home page, but I'm happy to post it here. JetBlue has partnered with carbonfund.org:

This one is interesting, in light of the fact that some fuel saving measures in their flight plans increase flying times:

Reduce flying times with out increasing speed. To me that means better routings, or increased accuracy in the dispatch paperwork.

Mostly PR and very little meat to the programs.
I do like that the removal of the free headsets and decision to not offer a magazine are both "green" efforts. |
