New Schedule Availability Notification Service
 

Greetings, fellow FT'ers. I am here to ask your opinion on a simple but useful little service that I am currently beta testing.

I've seen many postings here over the years regarding when JetBlue will release seats for XXX month. The answer is always something along the lines of, JetBlue does not adhere to a set schedule and you have to keep checking.

As we all know, award seats are limited and if you don't snatch them up quickly for peak times, they will be gone before you know it.

Well what if there was a service that automatically notified you via email within 30 minutes of JetBlue releasing new dates available for booking? It would enable you to get a jump on things and lock in those dates and/or award seats quickly before the general public even knows that they are available?

The notification service would be absolutely free and the only requirement would be to sign up for an airfare alert newsletter (also free) at Airfarewatchdog.com (which I am affiliated with). In addition to JetBlue, the service will also monitor Southwest and Allegiant airlines for new availability.

At the moment, I am maintaining a manual mailing list of folks who would like to be notified of new availability, but eventually there will be a signup page at Airfarewatchdog.com where you will be able to maintain your email information and airline options.

Please reply here if you think this is something you would be interested in. You can also forward your email address to airlinedateavailability<at>gmail.com to be place on the list. All email addresses will be kept strictly private and will not be used for any purposes other than sending our seat availability notifications.
