Is there anyone who attended the april 9th classes and if so how many days were the classes? ...did they give a day off or early days?

Since I live in NYC, I've been searching for open positions at their HQ in LIC. Does anyone know if JetBlue's internships tend to lead to FT employment? It's a big risk for me to leave my job (which I could have a future in) for an internship that will lead to nothing.

I just wanted to ask because some companies rarely hire their interns and some tend to want to hire their interns.

Thanks in advance!
Many internships lead to full time employment at JetBlue. I can think of 2 or 3 examples of people who were interns at JB and now worked (or did work) here full time.

Specailsit Materials

hey guys
I applied for the Specialist Materials position in BOS back in late Nov, have done all the steps as of Dec 12, and notice they reposted the position on the 18th, what could be the reason for this and was told not to contact them as they will contact me and the other 2 people who are candidates for the position(was told there were 3 openings at the time of the written test/f2f interview)
just so hard to sit and wait for that email as I do feel as I gotten the position along wth the 2 other fellas since we did all steps incl drug/fingerprint scan.
thanks
josh
also I told them and the background people about my background since I was not asked in the interview nor on the application and feel this will deter me from the position its nothing bad like murder or DUI but its still a felony that happened in '07 served no time for it

I registered on this site just to say that THAT is probably one of the funniest dam things I have read lately.

I am by NO means making light of jtviggens concerns and I do hope he receives useful info. Good Luck!

Background check

Does anyone know just what exactly would disqualify you (in a background check) from being hired for Jetblue reservations? I know certain jobs or companies might overlook certain things but I filled out the background check papers with Sterling and I know it's only been a few days but you guys the ants in my pants are getting ants in THEIR pants. Six years ago my stupid friend got a shoplifting charge and since she used my coat to hide it I got charged witht it too. Anyway, a class b misdemeanor can't hold me back from getting hired can it?? Im going to be so disappointed if this ruins my chances of getting hired 😭

Hi! Did you get the answer that you needed? I have to complete my bkground check within ten days and I plan on being honest putting the six year old shoplifting charge on their but I really don't want it to ruin my chances of being hired. Just wondered if you had any positive feedback! Thanks a bunch!!

I'm hoping there are still people that check this thread. I attended the JetBlue hiring blitz in Orlando back in... March? I was "tentatively" offered the position with background/drug screening contingency. I passed both (passed drug screening 4 weeks ago and BGC 3 weeks ago) and I'm supposed to start training in 3 weeks. I haven't heard a word from anyone. I've checked voicemail, email (spam/junk folders also) and nada. Do I need to be panicking? I would think I'd have heard something by now with some orientation information, or the "official" offer letter. I have no phone number or contact person to reach out to.

During my group interview they said it must be covered...idk about the uniforms for FA but if its covered by a watch i dont think they will notice....i would just ask when you meet an employee or supervisor

For reservation agents/customer service, asides from the hourly wage; are there options for commissions/bonuses?

TIA

hoping

I'm going through the hiring process currently, long but fun journey. My main question is I'm looking at the pt ground ops with the hope of getting my foot in the door. Given I get hired and do a good job, what are the chances of obtaining full time after season. I know there are many factors but maybe just a percentage?? Thanks

usually it is after 1 year that you can switch to full time if there are any full time spots available in your station... i know in bos right now they are only hiring full time
