"EvenMore" replacing "Even More Space""
 
Looks roughly equivalent to AA "Main Cabin Extra" with the added bonus of "special cookies". Unlike AA, JetBlue is setting a defined limit on the alcohol at 3 drinks per flight, which they are clear to call out, does not stack with your Mosaic 3 drink allowance.

At least my companion(s) will now be officially entitled to 3 free drinks, if we sit in the good seats.

Note that this is not a full replacement of EMS by 'Even More'. The former EMS exit row seats over the wings are now called 'Extra Legroom' seats. They don't come with the free drinks/better cookies -- but are available for selection for Mosaic 1 flyers at booking time. Mosaic 1 members can select the 'Even More' seats (if any are left) at check-in.

I view this as a real upgrade for reaching Mosaic 1 -- so much so that it takes away most of my motivation for achieving Mosaic 2.

This select-Extra-Legroom-on-booking is live now and I was able to select such seats for flights I've booked (I'm Mosaic 1) in late Feb.

They definitely lost the original good copywriters. What a weird corporate brand-name replacing something nice and clear.

This is incredibly confusing. Using the 321 and 32M as an example, rows 1-5 will be EM with the above perks, and then the exit rows will simply be EL seats -- am I reading this correctly?

I guess it's similar to Alaska Air, where the front of Y is sold as Premium with extra benefits, but the exit rows are just extra-legroom seats only bookable by elites until check-in. Now that I made that analogy, it makes a little more sense to me.

I saw the new blue overhead bin stickers on a friend's IG post the other day and asked what it was, but never heard back. I guess now I know.

Wow I just checked one of my flights. 4 hours to PLS. They want an extra $155 per person per leg for a few inches, 3 free drinks, and a few cookies. Oh yeah and dedicated over head space LOL. That's $620 extra round trip for two versus blue. NO THANKS.

I think it's so that people sitting in the exit row aren't entitled to the three free drinks. United, Delta, and American also do not designate the exit row seats as Economy+/Comfort+/Main Cain Extra.

I'm not positive, but I heard they'll also be checking boarding passes so that if the passenger didn't pay for EvenMore and just happened to be sitting there via random seat assignment, that they will not get any of the soft product perks of EvenMore outside of the bin space and maybe the cookies.

United designated the Exit Rows as “Economy Plus.”

I assume they’ll have the details for free drinks on their iPads to see who is actually eligible for free Drinks like they do now for Mosaic and JetBlue vacations passengers.

Considering how incompetent their IT is I doubt there is anything on their iPads.

UA and AA designate exit rows as Econ+/MC Extra, but UA doesn’t provide free drinks; AA does.

DL and AS limit Comfort+/Premium to just the first rows of Y.

I think this is so DL and AS, and now B6, can advertise early deplaning as another added benefit.

flew last night in an "even more" seat. got the cookies. no drinks offered. maybe because it was a redeye flight b6 1770?

They won't go out of their way to offer you a drink - no airline does this. You just have to ask for one, either during beverage service or asking a flight attendant between services. They simply won't charge you for it (well, up to three, apparently).

Had a margarita at my Even More seat during beverage service (slightly apprehensive they were going to say, "The tequila is free, but we need to charge you the +$2 for the mix as per the menu."), asked that FA about drinks #2 and #3: "We'll bring them on request."
Later, on a bathroom run I asked a different FA by the lav for a can of Montauk beer? "Sure, what seat?" One of the better in-flight beers I've run across.

So curiously, if you charge the mixer ($2) on your Jetblue plus credit card is it half price ($1)? Jetblue management is so dumb..... SO DUMB.

Only the first mixer is half off, the second ones are proportionally priced to your Mosaic tier, so 40% off for M4, 30% off for M3, etc.

Anecdotally, I have never, regardless of seat, been charged for mixers (or the Owen's Lemonade) as a Mosaic

Extremely dumb if this is what they're cracking down on

The chocolate chip cookies have been switched from Tate's to some generic soft chocolate chip cookie (1).

Charging for mixer seems ridiculous - couldn't they at least code it as the second drink, or does it have to contain alcohol?

I did not mean that they charged me for mixer, they did not. My point was that before ordering my drink, I wouldn't have put it past them to do so.

The article you linked in that thread said EvenMore will decrease to 35" pitch on average, not that it is going away.

If anyone can redirect me to a better thread I will be more than happy to read. Wonder if anyone has experience with the so-called dedicated overhead bin space recently? I travel twice per week on B6 and carry a backpack, no roller bag and no checked luggage. Twice in the last two weeks a flight attendant has either removed my bag from the overhead bin and handed it to me demanding it be placed under the seat, or told me to remove my bag and put it under the seat in front of me. I boarded in the first group as part of my mosaic perks, so no space issues at this time what so ever. It seems odd to get penalized for bringing less on board. Based on what I am observing recently, the only way to make sure that I keep the space under the seat in front of me available for my feet is to make sure I bring a bag that is too big to fit under my seat and small enough to fit in the overhead bin, and preferably it should look like a roller bag not a backpack. Both times I asked the flight attendant about the dedicated space advertised and both times I was met with immediate irritation and an inpatient response. In the most recent case the FA just kept repeating "company policy" and even called me out saying that if I travel so often I should know the policy. I can not find this policy on the website, can anyone else? There is a small foot note saying "if space is available," but both of these episodes happened at the beginning of boarding when there was no space issue. Thanks in advance.

These FA's deserve to be blasted in the post flight surveys. JetBlue has some really great crews, but also seems to have some really bad ones. The surveys are the only place I've found to report the bad ones.

Good FA: "Mr. Jfunk138: Thank you so much for your loyalty! I see the seat next to you is empty on the manifest, can we place your backpack under this seat?" "If we have room later, we'll move it back up"

Bad FA: "We told you no backpacks in the overhead, put it under the seat in front of you"
