JFK - Minimum Connection Time to International Flight
B6 is offering a 37-min connection DCA-JFK-LHR. Is this realistic/wise? It's the only way to do the daytime flight to London from the DC area without overnighting in NYC.

I've been on JFK-LGW/LHR outbounds where B6 has held the departure for connections, believe mainly MCO, but I'd never attempt 37 minutes.

JetBlue doesn't fly DCA-JFK

Service begins 9/16/23. Three daily flights in each direction. Was originally supposed to start in June.

37 minutes is an illegal connection, they shouldn't be selling that ticket. Are you sure it's not being pieced together through an OTA or by Google Flights?

I was reading the table wrong. Thanks to truncated for pointing out that the min connection time D-I is 35 mins:

Look at that, bookable on JetBlue.com... I wouldn't book this personally. I wonder how long these flights are going to be bookable for, I'd assume they'll get pulled as soon as someone at the airline realizes this has an illegal MCT...

I think you're looking at the table wrong - MCT for B6-B6 Domestic to International is 35 min (4th line from bottom) except for Cuba (1:00) or if you're originating from BUR for some reason

Interesting... FWIW BUR-JFK back in the day used to very often require a tech stop or severe weight restriction. Haven't been paying much attention to it lately.

Oh wow, I completely missed this, thank you! I think I got caught up with this and assumed it meant 1:15 for D-I:
