Jet Blue and other airlines with solid refundable travel bank and points usage
Jet Blue is excellent on using either Travel Bank or Points for a purchase (got 80K from a Barclay MasterCard), one or the other, not mixing, and being refund-capable.
Refund is strong, right up close to the flight, as long as the ticket is not Blue Basic, the ticket you get is about $40 more but includes Carry-On, travel bank however is subject to a year expiration.
You really can't change a flight, their technology is not able, but refunding and rebooking to another flight amounts to the same thing. Just keep good records.
Southwest is similarly strong. They actually refund the money I think, rather than put it into travel bank, so that is a plus if you don't have points.
Both of them get my kudos for versatility, especially if you have points.

Frontier is quirky with the WORKS being refundable but adding a lot to the price.
Now I see that other airlines at least have travel bank.
American Airlines says they refund into .. something. Right now I am booking an offbeat flight 8 months in advance and may use them for that reason (NYC to Waco $150 flights).
United may have something.
Is there a review anywhere of what each airline has for FULL REFUNDABILITY into travel bank?

AA is horrible with flight credits and trip credits NOT being able to be used simultaneously. However the credits can be used by anyone.
Delta e-credits can only be used by the person it was issued to.
