Cannot purchase seats online - "there has been an error" -
Hi
Got an AA ticket which is on Jetblue flight. Want to buy 2 x extra legroom seats, but each time I try to pay I get the 'there is an error' message. To date I have tried: 1. On the app - "there has been an error" 2. On Chrome "there is an error" 3. On Edge - the payment button does nothing. I have cleared browser cookies, tried it on 2 x different phones and a laptop and keep getting the same response - any ideas how I can make this purchase? |
I had to go to jet blue site previously to get seats on flight operated by jet blue but booked on AA but not sure how it is now. Just thru heck doing online booking with points on Jet Blue right now. Nuts.

i'm seeing something similar today. trying to upgrade to EMS seats, i can select the seats and enter the payment info, it starts processing, does some sort of amex verification and looks like it's going through then just goes back to the check out screen again, no errors, it just doesn't work. I also lost my existing seat assignments, so i had to go back in and select my non-ems seats again.
