SoFi + TrueBlue
 

Has anyone taken advantage of TrueBlue's partnership with SoFi? Are loan types unrestricted that qualify for TrueBlue points? Are the savings considerable (i.e. rates)?

Doesn't look like there are pre payment penalties. Could be interesting...

Sounds like this is something one can refi, get the TrueBlue points and then pre-pay once points are loaded to account?

So, I ended up doing this and it worked well. Applied over the weekend for a $100K personal loan. After some minor back and forth, the loan was funded within a few days, and the 50K points hit my TrueBlue account the same day as the funds hit my bank account. I did an ACH transfer for the balance on the SoFi website that day to repay the full loan. Total cost for 50K points was about $40 in interest + a hard credit pull. Worth doing if you don't mind paying careful attention to the website and your bank won't give you a hassle over a $100K transfer.

That's a hell of a point generator. I'd expect this to last about a month in it's current state.
