Even More Space Price increased?

Just noticed prices seem to have gone up 50% on Even More Space seats. Is that true or am I seeing things?

Thanks

I have noticed it on B6 as well as other airlines (Delta comfort+). If I was not mosiac I would not pay the fees on most of the flights. I do not buy the EMS seats on the E190 as they are not worth it .

Just curious. Why not on the E190 vs Airbus 32x ?

I just paid about $50 each way extra for an EMS seat on PBI-JFK and back for Mom, who needs to go to NYC for a bit. I did this as she prefers it to the regular Economy seats. Comfort+ on Delta (she also uses them) between FLL/PBI and JFK is usually $40-$45 each way. Hope this helps mattack4000!

I wish they did a better job of advertising the price before booking... I've been getting EMS on my BOS-PHX runs when it makes a big difference on the long flight.

Any data points on the price actually increasing? I haven't noticed anything on my usual routes.

DCA-BOS was a strange price when I booked today. $32 for EMS.

Ditto for me on my next two trips (BOS-LGA at $32 for EMS, and CLE-BOS at $42 for EMS), both in January.

The EMS seats on the A320 are near the front of the aircraft while those on the E190 are in the middle. You lose the first off advantage and the E190 seats have enough leg room as is.

I was thinking of upgrading my seat to EMS, but then on the E190, EMS are over the wings. No good view then, and it is only a 50 minute flight. Out of SJU, do I get any extra benefit on the more speed vs TSA pre-check?

More speed you just skip the line to the document checker and dumped into the mass at the machines. Pre-Check is faster.
EMS will get you on the plane earlier in the boarding process but the 190's have decent room 6'7" I don't even purchase it for my JFK-BUF flights only when I'm on an Airbus.

Does anyone know, if I don't book EM Space at time of ticket purchase, can I change it later, i.e. do a seat change online and upgrade (for the fee, of course)? Thanks.

Yes, you can do it by going into Manage Reservations, or at online check-in, or at the ticket counter at the airport.
