guys - anybody know what are delays getting to T5 departures on weekend morning around 7am? I hear it can get on weekedays , really bad but wondering if a weekend should be bad

Delays on the road? Or delays through security?

IME, there is a difference between a Saturday morning and Sunday morning, the latter of which usually has fewer delays. If the road leading to T5 departures is busy, I'd recommend getting dropped off at arrivals and taking the escalators to the main floor.

Saturday mornings, security lines can still be a bit long due to the leisure crowd. Maybe about 15-20 minutes for non-precheck. I don't know about Sunday morning at T5.

Or flight delays since one of four runways are closed.

I do a lot of early AM flights out of T5. If the ramp looks crowded, just tell the driver to drop you off at the end where the Mint/Mosaic sign is. That area is almost always less crowded than the first set of doors.

Weekends are always lighter in terms of traffic but security can still be long

Just note that TSA Pre is temporarily at the North end per a pre-flight email I just got.
