Have any of you noticed points redemptions with Mint lately?
I saw this article that seems to indicate a rather (IMO) big cut in the value of points redemptions for Mint:

But also wondering if TPG's observations match FT folks' observations. Talk amongst yourselves (Barbara Streisand, her legs are like butta). LOL |
I saw the same point values yesterday 3/1/19 when searching for a May 4th Mint JFK-SFO and did a search for November 16th with the same result. So it’s not just seasonal at this point. This does add value to the CSR since you can maintain the redemption rate. I hold both Barclays AF CC and CSR and I’m now wondering where I should direct my spending when buying Jetblue flights(6x vs. 3x, but UR’s get you Mosaic Status) I’m also interested in seeing how other folks will get affected. Incidently, CSR portal still has $.015 redemptions. I wonder if they are planning any adjustments... |
That stinks.
I'm guessing it's partly getting ready for the Europe rollout along with partly an overdue devaluation. |
