I will believe they are flying to London when it happens. The prices for a one way NYC-Lon route are ridiculous (It makes more sense to just buy a round trip ticket and throw away the return flight) . If they had the route I would have bought it for my trip in June/July. This has been talked about for a long time so I am very cynical that this would be the case.

NYC-LON is the most profitable route in the world. If this is what B6 intends, don't look for it to do so at bargain basement rates.

They dont need to have bargain basement rates. Even BOS-LHR on BA in J is $9,272 one way for a flight that is often shorter than BOS-SFO. There is plenty of room to add value.

If 1% of BA J flyers pay that or anywhere near that, I would be surprised.

The walk up fare one way in coach is $2789. Sure plenty of companies have corporate discounts but for last minute travel there is plenty of room to run profitable flights in these markets with a competitive product.

Hi,

Popping up on the BBC now ( quoting Simon Calder from the Independent news paper);

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/business-47418939 (1257 GMT)

and

https://t.co/rhHqpBn8F6

saying that JB is likely to announce LON-JFK & LON -BOS

Regards

LGW and STN? That'll work.

Looks like the official presser will be April 10th.

I can't see them getting Heathrow slots and Stansted isn't the best option for business pax but it's acceptable for leisure pax

Gatwick is the best logical choice though.

Agreed. I've got a 250k sitting around waiting for a rainy London day.
