Baggage transfer question
 

anybody have any experience how jet blue is with transferring baggage to an international carrier? I was specifically interested in cathay pacific, itinerary would be booked swpartely

I've done it many time on separate tickets to EK and they have a strong interline agreement stateside. No experience with CX but they are listed as a partner so I imagine it would be much the same. As with most airlines, usually depends on the experience/competency/mood of the check in agent. Something that can be helpful is to check with the gate/lounge agent for EK and give them your bag tag to check if your luggage was loaded.
