Any chance for a price drop?

Hi all, I have been watching a fare for a flight in October thinking I had all the time to be able to get it cheap and of course, it jumped up and now I don't have enough points for it. Do you think there's a realistic chance it could go back down before long? I won't wait again!!

Prices rise and fall all the time. Oct is a long way away. Oct is also typically a slack travel period. You'll find many deals in late summer for this period. Go to Google Flights and set up a price alert. Prices will come down eventually. When they do, go and check the points prices. Just be patient. Trust me on this.

Yes, there is definitely a good chance. This recently happened to me recently where the flight I wanted was coming in around $250. I kept checking and ended up booking for $188.
