Which Even More Space Row?
I am sure this has been asked before but which Even More Space row is better 1-5 or 11 on the A320. Looking at seat guru 11 looks better and I am usually an aisle guy so I will be taking either a "C" or "D" seat.
Any experience on 11 C or D? |

I'm a row 1 aisle person. I'll take the reduction in legroom to not have to worry about the person in front of me reclining. and love to be off the plane ASAP so many carry-ons now a days, imo takes forever to deplane from the middle to back, even on an E190.

Any other experiences?
We fly Curacao to New York in February. Never flown JetBlue before, it's just that the connection is non-stop. I mostly take row 1, but read a lot about restricted legroom. So I choose row 11 at the moment. If row 1 wouldn't have legroom restriction, I would have taken that one. |
My go to is 4A for the engine photo ops :D
That said, there really is no difference in pitch for Rows 1-5 or 10-11. Row 1 you do have to stow your bags up top and be comfortable with the bulkhead wall. I also think if they are putting non-revs in EMS seats, they are more likely to be in the Exit rows than 1-5 so you may luck out better with an empty middle in the lower rows. |
I'm slightly certain that Rows 10-11 have greater pitch. Row 10 is probably non-reclining, but that may only be the window seats. Also, I usually hate the exit row window seats as they don't have a full armrest along the sidewall. If 10 C/D reclines, then that would be fine. 11C/D you have the "issue" with a non-EMS seat behind you, so if you recline, you might annoy that person and they may kick you. :) Same in row 5 (though this is generally less an issue on B6 than other airlines because even non-EMS seats have decent legroom). Personally, I definitely don't like the bulkhead -- can't stretch out your legs. If you're shorter than maybe 5'5" it's probably fine though. But if you have wide hips and/or meaty thighs, the tray tables are in the armrests so you might feel somewhat restricted.
In sum rows 2-4 would be my preference. :) |
