Mosaic Status/EML Seats/Family Pooling
My wife just made Mosaic. The ability to upgrade with points for EML seats is a nice benefit. The thing is we have family pooling setup and 100% of her points goes into the family account. Is it still possible for her to use the family points if she's not the head-of-household (I am) or do I need to keep some points in her account so that she's got a stash for EML upgrades?
In case it matters, I am now Mosaic as well.

I was in exactly this situation recently, and wasn't able to book my wife an EML seat with points. I called up, and they confirmed that she needs points in her account to do this (unless she is on same PNR as me). They suggested I change the pooling setting from 100% to 90%.
What I didn't realize is that you can only change your % elections once per year with Family Pooling, so I guess we're stuck at 50% for the foreseeable future. Not the end of the world, since I can just book award tix out of her account, but it came as a bit of a surprise.
