Mint -> difference between N/A and 'not there'

Hello,

I'm looking forward to book a flight with Jetblue.

When checking the potential dates in March 2018 (!), on certain days it says Mint N/A, and on others Mint is not even mentioned.

I can not believe, that all the Mint seats are taken for a March flight. Or will the Mint seats just be released later this year?

Thanks a lot for any info

What route? Is it one of the routes where not all flights are going to be Mint by your date of travel?

its JFK-UVF. You can see:

- no mint listed
- Mint N/A
- Mint available

The flight to UVF only operates on certain days of the week and the mint flights are limited to Saturdays during off peak times.

Thanks Yoshi, still this does not answer my question.

If there is NO Mint, why are they sometimes showing "MINT N/A" while sometimes there is just no "MINT" listed.

Could a N/A mean that there MIGHT be a MINT soon?

Because it does.

I doubt it. Looking at the JFK-UVF route I see one example where it is "n/a" instead of missing. I'm betting it a rendering issue rather than forecasting of future plans.

Could it be that missing comes up for flights operated by A320 and n/a for A321 without mint configurations?

Nope. Both the n/a and missing I found are loaded as 320 in the system.

I was looking for LAX-BOS ns Mint in March 2018 and no flights had the cabin available for purchase. I was looking the first couple of days after the schedule extension. All flights just said Mint was unavailable. Not sure if they load the fares later or what.

I can see Mint fares for every single day in March 2018 right now LAX->BOS
