We will be using half-carts instead of the full-sized carts that other airlines used. They are half the length which will allow us so easily maneuver them up and down the aisle.

Meaning same height and width, just closer to a square than a rectangle?

Yes. The reason they're switching to half-size carts is that it's needed for JetBlue's awful (IMO) decision to reduce legroom and pack more passengers on the A320 reconfiguration, where they'll switch from the current bathroom & galley layout (on the left) to the awful, tiny new bathrooms and mini-carts (v2 on the right)

Why should core customers get less service on Mint flight, while (apparently) subsidizing a second Mint-only FA?
While I don't think it's fair to say core passengers are subsidizing the Mint FA (if anything, it's probably the opposite), it's reasonable to point out that DL uses 2+3 for a similarly configured business class 757. (Domestic First configs receive 1+1 float+2 similar to B6, but those flights have lighter service requirements up front.)

That's probably why Jetblue has the "marketplace" for self service on the mint aircraft. Would be interesting to see if they start putting better snack boxes in there now that the legacies have started meal service on the transcon routes.

As for having one less FA than on Delta, this is how Jetblue is able to offer Mint fares as low as $499 on FLL-LAX/SFO (and $449 on Tue/Wed) on some days. Well, that along with no lounge access, free upgrades, much ground game and more efficient layout.

Delta on the other hand, must be really hurting selling BOS/SFO D1 seats at $599 less than 2 weeks from departure.
