Does B6 do sales? When to book?

Hi,

Am new to these parts but all set to make my first B6 flight next summer from SJO to MCO.

From what I can find, B6 don't seem to have done sales for a few years, so i'm probably best off booking the seats as soon as they come on sale - is that right?

Thanks

Tony

This is all sorts of wrong.

Where are you looking that you do not see sales? Pretty much every other Tuesday there's something announced.

Also, much like most other US-based airlines with decent revenue management systems the fares at schedule opening typically are not the best on offer over the life of that flight's sales existence. Pinning the perfect time to buy is not necessarily easy, but usually it is not when sales open up.

Which would kind of be the point of me asking, I guess...

I did an FT search for B6 threads with 'sale' in the title. @:-)

The seats on the SJO-MCO route seem to be consistently priced at $220, once we get out of the Christmas period. Random Fridays next year - Feb 12, April 22, June 3 - all showing $220.

No wonder you didn't find them. :)

I dunno about MCO-SJU. That route may not see much variation in pricing; I never tracked it.

They have sales roughly once or twice a month. If you're a TrueBlue member, they should be emailing you about these sales. The sales generally last for a day or two. No one really bothers to post about the sales here on FT since they're usually a day or two in length before the prices go back up.
