B6 6420 pae-fll

Noticed on Flight tracker for FLL B6 6420 operating from PAE. This A320 aircraft has been at PAE since 5-20 came from LGB B6 6416.
I guess the aircraft has been in a maintenance facility but PAE is the Boeing plant, do they service a A320. Or is there another contractor on the field.

I think JetBlue's A320s go to PAE for wifi installation.

Correct. That is one of the places the FlyFi installs happen.

There's a serious Goodrich facility at PAE that performs avionics system upgrades on all sorts of commercial aircraft. Nothing to do with Boeing.

People forget sometimes that PAE isn't a Boeing facility, but has a couple of thriving FBOs and, one day in the middling future, scheduled commercial service.

They should be real close now to completing fly-fi installs on the A320's

320s are 80% complete and the 190s will start in early fall.

The Airbus fleet gets equipped with Fly-Fi etc. in PAE. The 190s will be done at the Embraer facility in BNA.

This is actually for Boeing. This is where they build a new aircraft as well as Boeing Museum. I recently that we went onto tour and unfortunately, there is no camera allowed during on the tour. Because of the restrictions.

While Boeing is the main tenant at PAE Aviation Technical Services (ATS), which was formerly Goodrich and formerly Tramco before that, had a decent MRO operation. It has shrunk as Boeing has took over some of the facilities for the 787 program.

I think that's an aircraft returning from a maintenance check

Looks like the older 320's are taking longer to upgrade. Both N527JT and N558JB spent two weeks at PAE.

Getting closer now to 100%

TIMCO has a major repair facility at Lake City and quite a few of our 320s go there for MX work.

Any idea how much longer will they keep it free? I'd think that until the E190's are done, but after the entire fleet has it, will it still be free?
