get points for past flights?
My wife and I took a couple of flights, one last july (1+ years) and one 2+ years ago. I got the points for the one last year but she didn't. I probably didn't bother adding her trueblue number since I am not organized enough to worry about that stuff. I'm trying to get myself organized, so can I get those points for her? I asked a rep on the phone and they said they don't keep records for more than a year. I have email confirmations from the flights with all the info, can I email someone to see if they get them back?
The other older flight, neither of us have points for it. Is that because they probably expired? When did points become permanent? Is there a way to get those points? Again, I have the email confirmations for it. |
Welcome to FlyerTalk!
You're not likely to get anything more than a year old; the agent was correct about that. The fact that you have an email confirmation doesn't help you as it doesn't mean you actually flew the flights. As for the change in the points expiry policy, that happened in June 2013. |
