The JetBlue Fleet Guide - a work in progress, feel free to edit with updates!

All JetBlue aircraft are equipped with free LiveTV and gate-to-gate FlyFi, JetBlue's free satellite wifi service.

Embraer E190AR - 60 in service - Retirements to begin in 2021
  • 4:3 aspect ratio LCD TV screens; N346JB and higher have 16:9 aspect ratio screens.
  • 16 Even More Space (EMS) seats, 18.25" width, 39" pitch (Rows 1, 12-14)
  • 84 Core seats, 18.25" width, 32" pitch
  • 100 seats total in 25 rows
  • No in-seat power

Airbus/Bombardier A220-300 - 70(+50 options) on order
  • Deliveries begin in 2020; One aircraft scheduled to be delivered in 2020.
  • Includes options to convert to A220-100
  • Amenities and seating TBD, 140 seats total

Airbus A320-232 - 53 (+4 OOS for cabin refresh) in service
  • 4:3 aspect LCD TV screens
  • 42 Even More Space (EMS) seats, 17.8" width, 38-39" pitch (Rows 1-5, 10-11)
  • 108 Core seats, 17.8" width, 34" pitch
  • Seats on 5xx and 6xx tails are made by Weber, Seats on 7xx tails are made by Recaro
  • 150 seats total in 25 rows
  • No in-seat power, a power outlet is available in each lavatory

Airbus A320-232 with sharklets - 7 in service*
  • Widescreen LCD TV screens
  • 42 Even More Space (EMS) Recaro seats, 17.8" width, 38-39" pitch (Rows 1-5, 10-11)
  • 108 Core Recaro seats, 17.8" width, 34" pitch
  • 150 seats total in 25 rows
  • Power outlets under all EMS seats
  • Spotting feature:Tail number is in the N8xxJB range.

*Does not include N708JB, N709JB or N715JB, all of which were retrofitted with sharklets but did not receive a cabin refresh. Tail number is a better indicator of amenities than whether the plane has sharklets. N8xxJB series tails have power outlets at the EMS seats. Also does not include N805JB or N827JB which have received the new Phase 2 cabin.

I think it "officially" enters service on Thursday with the inaugural BOS-MSP flight, then it will be semi-assigned to do a lot of JFK-RSW turns. It is still the only one, although they are doing crew training/familiarization flights on regular (not yet converted) A320s (with the difference being that four FAs are scheduled instead of three) to prepare them for the changes.

OK, so this is the plan. Info and images are from JetBlue, resized to make them forum-appropriate.

Phase 1 is to restyle older tired A320s with their A321 interior. I think they're doing this because it can't wait.







Phase 2 is to install new Rockwell Collins Meridian slimlines (This is what Southwest is using, except with IFE. IFE appears to be similar to Virgin America's Red; android based with many entertainment options)

So does this mean the awful, universally-hated SpaceFlex A320 bathroom plan has been put on an indefinite hold???

Pretty much. There are a couple minor differences but it is basically the A321 Core interior.

The only similarity between RED and the new AVANT IFE system going on JetBlue is that they are based on a custom Android build. RED was a Panasonic Avionics product; AVANT is a Thales kit.

N510JB was sent to Mobile (BFM) today. This is one of JetBlue's contracted paint shops (as well as the Airbus factory in the US). Maybe it will come back in a new special paint scheme. Or maybe it will come back as yet another JetBlue Vacations plane.

The final A321ceo on order, N973JT has been released from Mobile, and landed at LCQ.

A new A321 (N999JQ) was delivered to LCQ. It was released and just finished its first revenue flight JFK-TPA

N629JB was sent to LCQ 12/7. N627JB returned from LCQ on 12/7 as well.

There should be another one returning from LCQ 12/9 as flight 6420.

I haven't been able to keep track of everything going to SAL, so I'd appreciate any updates if someone happens to see any A320s going to/from there.

N509JB returned from SAL 12/2/18. This one does not appear to have the new cabin.

N593JB went to SAL 12/3/18 and returned from SAL 12/7/18. That's not enough time to do a cabin refresh. A quick inventory check also shows 150 as well
