You asked about eastbound flights and then mentioned a westbound flight?
Anyway, I often fly the 11:59 SFO-JFK and then the return ~9:15PM or so. From what I remember, the Westbound flight offers the abbreviated menu and the eastbound one offers the full menu.

Eastbound Breakfast SFO-JFK
Open PDB, but I just had seltzer
Hopper kit, bottled water and wrapped pillow/blanket in place upon boarding
FAs were on top of things, solicitous and friendly
FAs made repeated and successful attempts to keep F cabin overhead bins closed to non-F passenger.
Seat controls, power outlets and entertainment center worked mostly well
I've tried to edit and add the Milk Bar cookie (Blueberry & Cream) pic I originally forgot to post, but I've been repeatedly unsuccessful. Sorry.

Buttery Croissant and a glass of Spanish bubbly to start the meal
Chicken Sausage (top), Zucchini Frittata (left), Watermelon (middle) and Smoked Salmon (right)
The chicken sausage links were listed as available upon request (not as part of the 3 out of 5 "delish dishes" choices). So I opted in. Not bad, but fairly dry and grainy. Worth getting if you're hungry, tho!
Zucchini Frittata with feta, parmesan, cheddar & harissa aioli. Perfectly edible, but overcooked and rubbery. The "harissa aioli" didn't taste awful, but honestly it bore no resemblance to harissa or aioli.
"Fresh Fruit - watermelon, lime, mint" - for prepped airline fruit, this was light, refreshing and still juicy, which is all one can reasonably expect. The mint would taste/feel less old if it was cut in smaller pieces than the rough chiffonade shown here.
Smoked Salmon with cream cheese, avocado & cherry tomatoes. I applaud the use of smoked salmon b/c it can hold up in these conditions, but the cottage cheese just drowns it in a sea of blandness.

Service was wonderful and all in all each entree was excellent. Probably one of the best airplane breakfasts I've ever had.

Lobster Roll
All in all the food was good and hit the spot for the red-eye. Lobster Roll was much better than I had on a red-eye a year back, too, and all in all pretty decent.
That said service was... oof. While FA was at least quick and efficient (good on a red eye) service was really cold. FA seemed unhappy to be there, was doing the 1000 yard stare when passing through the cabin, and seemed to just do the bare minimum. Skipped over me for the meal service at first and skipped hot towels entirely both times. No to-go bags for the arrival snack either :/ .
