Nov Eastbound Redeye was Carrot Soup (Saxon), Sandwich, and something I don't remember. Apologies, the plane caught a mechanical and we took off late. The cabin polished off some bottles and we dozed off before the plane took off. Great sleep. Unfortunately (for my sleep) the pilot managed to fly real fast and we got in only a bit later than expected.

On my eastbound lunch flight this week, I went with

BRUSSELS SPROUTS SALAD apples, pomegranate, parmesan, mustard dressing, toasted nuts (good; lots of nuts)

RICOTTA GNUDI roasted butternut squash, truffle-cream, kale, pumpkin seeds (very good)

SEARED POTATO CRUSTED HALIBUT asparagus, carrots, haricots verts, apples, radish-lime dressing (bad - fish dried out; one of the worst dishes I've had in Mint; maybe I shouldn't have eaten it last).

November 2018 Eastbound Breakfast

I can never remember to take a picture _before_ starting the meal... so cappuccino half gone, and the chocolate croissant entirely eaten at this point

Crackers and cheese ("charcuterie plate") was a nice light option, combined with the fruit. Not much of pancake fan but these weren't bad.

Saw a couple behind me get served the croissants and fruit much later in the flight. Not a bad idea, and wished I had thought of it too. With a 6:50am takeoff, would prefer to sleep first.

I'm a bit confused about the shuteye menu. Is it more of a quick option for people wanting to get to bed or is it the only option after a specific time? Would the ~midnight SFO departure have the full menu or just the shuteye? Thanks!

it is the only option on redeye flights going eastbound (unless you preorder special meal)

Is there a way to know which menu is offered on which flights? Flying SFO->FLL at 9:35am, I am assuming it would be the Eastbound breakfast menu? Then returning JFK->SFO 4:00pm would be Westbound Lunch/Dinner?

Edited: Also is there a plane eats dinner menu? Trying to decide if I prebook for my toddler since a lot of the items in the regular menu aren't super kid friendly.

Yes and Yes.

As far as a plane eats dinner menu, do you want to see an example menu, or what's actually being served this month? I don't see a current Plane Eats dinner menu online, but I can dig up some that are a year old

Thanks diburning. The Plane Eats dinner menu is not online and I called since it says you have to pre-order 24 hours in advance and the call center employee had no idea what I was talking about. So I think I might have to HUCA.

I've seen a couple of older menus so no need for you to go to the trouble of looking for some.
