They've also increased the upload capacity a bit in recent weeks. That was most useful when I was trying to upload photos in-flight today. :D

Is this with the basic/free connection? Or is the increase in upload throughput for the premium setup?

That's on the free version. I've still not found a reason/need to pay for the premium version.

So for those of you who have used Fly-Fi consistently over the months, how has your experience evolved in Beta? Is it ready for prime time in your opinion? Thoughts?

More importantly, why are they stuck on only 50 planes? I would think they should be wrapping up installs on the 320's by now

It has definitely improved in reliability and quality from the first day of flying to today IME/IMO.. And it is probably ready for "production" deployment at least as much as any other airborne solution is.

As for installation progress, I know they hit a snag a couple months ago which slowed things down but I believe they have 2 or 3 lines running right now.
