That's sooo exciting!!! Unfortunately I'm not on that flight but I did see some media photos/video about it from USA Today yesterday and got excited. I hope to try this product someday. Please take a lot of photos! Safe travels.

We're in flight over central PA right now and things are running very smoothly so far. I know there was a lot of work on the back end right up until the last minute to make this happen and I don't want to minimize the effort all the JetBlue folks put in to get here, but things are spectacular right now, like they've been doing it for years.

Just wanted to share a new video from JetBlue about Mint and a few newly designed items that'll be a part of the Mint experience: http://youtu.be/4kE2ae3BAQw

If your expectations are low.... those headphones look pretty cheap. No wonder MINT is priced where it is, u get what u pay for. The only good thing about MINT is that Delta lowered their BE prices on JFK-LAX to as low as $799.99. No brainer to take DL on a 767; especially with an airline that knows what there doing in the front of the bus.

Experience looks pretty good to me. Great seat, lots of food, and plenty of privacy. Were the IFE selections the same as usual JetBlue (TV and a few movies)?

Hilarious post. DL would not be even offering $799.99 fares if it weren't for jetblue and Mint is obviously going to be serious competition for DL whose yields are likely to slide in transcons where they are competing with mint. If the biggest complaint is the headset, I am sure that those that care about premium sound quality already have a nice one, and jetBlue must be doing something right--this being their second day of offering its Mint product.

Oh please make that happen, JetBlue! BOS-SFO is tied with MIA-SEA as the longest nonstop flight in the lower 48. It'd be really nice to have Mint on that route. I've usually been able to get the mileage award/upgrade on UA for this route, but Mint looks so much nicer than the tired UA domestic 757 F cabin.
