Expiring Points - Save or Keep?
 
Hi All,

I have 7450 points that expire in a month and am unsure about what to do with them.

- What's the dollar value of these points?

- Can I use the points to buy a ticket for someone else?

- If not, is it worth taking a very cheap flight just to keep the points active? If so, what's the cheapest itinerary?

You can use the points to buy some one else a ticket. They are worth about 100-110
(up to 1.5 center per point) although it may vary. The cheapest point usage is 5000 points for a 1 way ticket (B6 also just had some sales) .
