How long do you plan to stay? I've found that booking a JetBlue vacation for 3 nights with a $50 off promo code "thankyou" comes out to about the same fare of ~$500 with the hotel included.

Hello.:)

If anyone has a 30 off coupon they will not use I would love to put it to good use^
Thanks for any PM replies.

I know this is an old message - if this code is still available, I'd appreciate if you can send PM.
Thanks.

Thanks, amejr999. Not to pester you and never mind if you've moved on, but do you have a guess as to what you've done that popped this? I'm looking forward to getting more friendly with JetBlue, and am hoping to learn the best ways. Thank you again. :)

Welcome to FlyerTalk, wolfsburg04! ^

To wolfsburg04 and anyone else still watching and hoping:

This promo was live two days only. There was no actual coupon, per se, just codes to use while making the reservation(s!) and they died at the end of the promo.

Yup. The posted details said that the offer expired at 11:59 PM ET on Friday Sept 14. I booked my tix at about 11:30 PM and went out for a while. When I got back around 1 AM, I tried the codes just out of curiosity to see if they'd work, and of course, they didn't.

I was twice sad: First, similar to you, after checking out the deal with a couple of trials, I waited and JetBlue effectively halved the value on one way tickets. Some here characterized this as an initial glitch that got fixed. I don't believe that, but accept the application of the old FlyerTalk adage: "If you snooze, you lose." Second, I checked FlyerTalk too late in the game, only to discover that these were not one-off. Oh, what I didn't save. Lesson re-learned. Wish I didn't have to keep learning it. (Reminder to self: Check the Mileage Run board tab again now.) I digress.

I kicked myself, too, for not booking a little earlier, when I read the posts here about the $50 coupons changing to be worth only half on one-way trips. I ended up doing the $30 coupons for the one ways. It's still a helluva deal at $22 each way from JFK/BTV and back! :) I'll just hafto get some extra chocolate chip cookies to make up the difference! :D (Do they still have them?)

And, of course, you're 10,000% right about "Snooze you Lose"!!!

I used four $30 codes for 4 o/w's. (2 each for myself & my wife). The $50 ones were not even working.

We decided not to go on the trip. When we just now cancelled the trips (within 24 hrs of booking yesterday), we got Jet Blue travel ($280 total) credits instead of the payments being refunded back on the CC's. My wife & I decided to do a car trip that weekend instead. There were some stuff that happened that caused the fares to go up. I took too long to put in the pax information and my 3rd/4th bookings timed out. When I redid #4, the airfare went up $20+. It made the whole deal just mediocre.

Although refunding back to the CC's are the best, having Jet Blue Travel Bank credits are OK with us since Jet Blue flies from LGB (we are AA flyers--I am lifetime Gold & AA haven't flown out of LGB for at least several years!) and LGB is alot more convenient for us than LAX. (we live 2.5 miles from LGB). Within 365 days, we are very likely to use the JB credits when there is a nice super sale and we do not "feel" like making the trek to LAX.

Bottom line: I found this out on one of the blogs and he said refunds within 24 hrs. Not quite true but in our case the credits will work out since we need to meet min spends on credit cards. I should have "fact checked" the blogger's myself but did not in this case.

I found this out as well with the travel credits. I was able to use them for other reservations though so it turned into a wash.

I suspect it was random... family members with similar JB travel patterns got much less than me.
