Isn't good news for JetBlue is earning $43 millions dollars? Is they doing so good?

JetBlue is in a better position than many other US based carriers. Legacies will continue to cut capacity given the economic uncertainty and high oil prices as they try to rid their fleets of less fuel efficient aircraft and relatively low yielding routes. JetBlue has a reasonable amount of cash on hand given its size and has one of the most fuel efficient fleets now which will be even more so once the neos get delivered. For the short term, all the US airlines continue to be in an insecure position but JetBlue relatively speaking may be better off than many others in the longer term.
