According to Knowles, Victor Rodriguez, a JetBlue supervisor, approached her on the plane as she was "sitting with her orange juice" and asked, "I don't want to see your panties, but do you have any on?" He then "slapped his walkie-talkie in between [my] legs", Knowles claims in the suit. "I didn't want to show him my crotch," she said. "It was humiliating, degrading, and highly inappropriate."

Because the captain is in charge of the aircraft. If the captain believes a passenger's attire could be a safety hazard, then the passenger needs to be taken off the flight.
I dress for air travel with my own personal safety in mind. Flat, sturdy shoes. Cotton calf-length skirt and blouse. Layered for temperature regulation. Too hot? Take off a few layers. Too cold? Put more on.

She wasn't wearing a long shorts or pants, too. She did not have enforcing to followed the airline dress code. She should have respected from airlines policy and not try to kick her out of the aircraft. She would be banned flying on JetBlue. She have to change the dress in the lavatory or terminals restroom.

Yes, the captain is made a decision to remove her off the aircraft. He have a right things to do. He have to remove her off the plane. Captain is a charges and not a passengers. If he ask you to leave from the aircraft. You aren't allowed to flying during the day. If she & he have to change the clothes in the terminals restroom or lavatory. If they have escorted off the aircraft.

Interesting...I could go both ways on this one.
On the one hand, who cares what anyone is wearing? If she feels comfortable looking like a crack-whore then it's her business. It sort of proves the point that all these 'slut-walks' are ill-fated; expect to be treated based on the way you present yourself.
On the other hand, since many/most people these days have no clue how to dress properly and force others to look at their sorry excuse for presentation, maybe the captain was right to set some standards.
Finally, how does putting a radio between her legs let anyone see better???

Based on the media's handling of past incidents, I am confident that there will turn out to be more to this story, and that the additional information will reflect poorly on the passenger.

I have no problem with poorly dressed people being removed from the plane. ^^ to the staff.
Like my grandmother always said. "Dress like a bum and expect to be treated like a bum"

As long as she was dressed it was nobody's business what she wore, especially the pilot's.

I have no problem with some discretion in dress code. But the captain should have considered the welfare of the other passengers. His conduct led to a lot of inconvenience to the other passengers who did nothing wrong. Maybe Jetblue needs to have ticket or gate agents warn passengers if they come dressed like crack hos and give the passenger some time to adjust and not bring any drama onto the aircraft.
