$4 o/w fares between BUR and LGB 7/16 Only
Clearly not a "usual" route for B6 to take, but given how bad the 405 will be on Saturday it could be a quick way around or just an interesting way to see even more gridlock than normal on LA streets. Looks like it books at $8 r/t apparently with no taxes or additional fees.

Would be awesome except when I try to complete the booking I get:
"Sorry, we are unable to proceed with your selected flights at this time. Please select other flights and proceed."

Trying to book the 12:20pm flight out of BUR and come back on the 1:50pm flight out of LGB but can't purchase them due to site error -- is it bad that I want this so that I can have a new worthwhile "shortest flight" on FlightMemory?
Also, love that the flight numbers BUR-LGB are B6 405 and 1405!

I just called this issue into the tech line, and they're aware of it. In the next 15-20 min or so (according to the person I got) Reservations will be aware of how to book the $4 fares, and will waive the booking fees for the $4 flights. I'd give people 15-20 min to get (and read!) the emails, and then feel free to call into 1-800-JetBlue and ask them to book for you.
(I also got permission to post this information on here, so don't worry! In fact, she asked me to.)

EDIT: Maybe it has to do with the turnaround time. If I try to book 1-way, I can see 405 and 1405 or 406 and 1406 (depending on direction).

The email on how to book these has now gone out to general reservations. Please feel free to call in and ask for assistance in booking. (EML seats are $1 on these flights, if you're curious.)
Anyone at 1-800-JetBlue should be able to assist. They will waive the booking fee on these. =)
Thanks all!

BOOKED! B6 405 out of Bur at 12:20pm, return on B6 406 at 1:50pm (have plans at night and a metro day pass costs more than the return flight haha!)
PS I wouldn't be a true FTer if I didn't ask ... how many TrueBlue points does this get??

Another stroke of pure marketing genius from the brilliant staff at JetBlue!
Saturday normally has quite a few aircraft sitting idle. For maybe $200k in incremental expense JetBlue will gain millions of dollars worth of publicity. @:-)
