Should be 6/dollar if booked online.

One of the four is sold out and the website is crumbling under the load.

There's a big "SOLD OUT" banner slapped across the entire promotion now so I assume that means that all 4 flights are sold out.

The free metro connection mentioned in the other thread (ex-BUR) may be useful to some with this promo.

I wish B6 added a few more planes for this party.

Maybe people will cancel and open up seats later?

There were a number of complaints that bookings were failing.

Clearly this is not a route that B6, or any airline for that matter, normally flies. I think it was a great idea. It might be useful for someone who is actually traveling between the areas surrounding both airports but more than likely it's people like me who would want to do it just for the novelty.

Too bad they aren't running their FF program the way WN used to where people would actually get credit for a RT flight for all of $8 :-)

My guess is that they underestimated the amount of people who would take advantage of this as the initial tweets/emails stated that you could book up until either 7/16 or when seats ran out.

Also realized the pricing scheme - $4 one-way, or $5 for EML seats. 4 or 5 dollars. 405!

Metrolink only operates to/from the Burbank Airport Station on Weekdays (M-F). Word of caution for anybody attempting to do this in conjunction with this promotion, unfortunately.

Amtrak still serves Burbank on weekends with a few trains.

Amtrak does run a limited Surfliner schedule on Saturdays - think its about 6 trains/day. Fare from LA Union Station to BUR is $3 one-way, which isn't bad at all for Amtrak (probably the cheapest Amtrak ticket in the country; though Amtrak does price the shorter Glendale-LA ride at $7.50...)

Debating how much traffic there will be heading from Pasadena on the 134. It's either drive/park or Gold Line/Amtrak, but the last possible train from Union Station is the 9:05am for the 12:20pm flight.

Not to mention for those of us returning at 2:35pm, the next train out leaves at 4:25pm.

FYI, if you booked with a B6 CC, paid for EML and do the OLCI you can earn 668 points round trip. Not bad for $10; you can actually break even on the deal.
