Keep Points w/o Flying?
Anyone know of a way to keep TrueBlue points from expiring without flying?

The only other option is the B6 AmEx card.

Slightly OT, but related: With another airline, if a family member had enough miles/points, they could put your name on the award ticket. However, it seems like JetBlue will only allow points to be transferred. They will not allow buying award tickets where the name does not match the account holder. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Does transferring AMEX membership rewards to True Blue extend the expiration date? Or is it only the jet blue branded card that has this benefit?

Only the branded card AFAIK.

My suggestion was to USE the points that are almost expiring to BUY a fully refundable ticket.
