Is JetBlue Coming to IND?

Inside Indiana Business reports that the Indianapolis Airport will announce a new airline partner tomorrow. I'm hoping that it's Jet Blue! Has anyone heard any rumors? As my wife pointed out, I only have to wait until tomorrow to find out. :)

If not JetBlue...then who? I think this makes sense.

Branson AirExpress

I've never heard of this airline. Their website tells me nothing about the company. What do they fly?

Looks like BransonExpress is just a marketing company to get people to Branson. All the flight are actually operated by Express Jet. If the info on this Wiki is correct. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branson_Airport

Bummer. :( I think JetBlue should come to IND someday. They could give Delta some competition on the IND-BOS and IND-JFK routes.

I wouldn't hold my breath on JetBlue coming to IND any time soon.

If memory serves me correctly JetBlue came to CMH and BNA (two markets similar to IND) and did not stay a year.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Because B6 is pulling out on those 2 routes JFK-BNA/CMH due to too many problems in JFK are always late arrivals. This is not good timing for B6 is pulled out of the markets. I wasn't aware of B6 will have reconsider to bring it back more specific routes BOS-BNA/CMH instead of going through JFK has lots of the congestions. Right now, I would have to be consider to bring more potential new routes BOS-IND or JFK-IND.

Why not BOS-BNA/CVG/IND/STL?

I have never understood why there is no non-stop of any kind in the BNA-BOS market. No B6 and no WN. AA tried two MD-80 flights a day after they closed their BNA hub, switched to RJ's and pulled them after a year or so. DL tried it with RJ's on and off again and abandoned. BOS is the largest market to which there is no NS flights from BNA. Strange.

But I don't think B6 would come back into the BNA market anyway. Maybe WN will try it at some future point.

WN flies PVD-BNA.
