NEW YORK, May 10, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq: JBLU) reported its preliminary traffic results for April 2010. Traffic in April increased 6.0 percent from April 2009, on a capacity increase of 6.1 percent.
Load factor for April 2010 was 80.5 percent, a decrease of 0.1 points from April 2009. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.5 percent and its on-time(1) performance was 85.4 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of April increased four percent year over year.
So relatively steady LFs and a 4% PRASM rise over last year, even with a 6 increase in capacity. That's a pretty solid set of numbers.
