checked baggage question

i'm planning on bringing some wedding favors in boxes down to aruba on jetblue. i know that on their site it says that it does not allow boxes to be checked in to international destinations. is there anyway around this? i don't want to stick them all in suitcases and bring back an empty suitcase.

Buy a real cheap suite case or closeable bag. Something you don't mind throwing away down there.

Highly doubt it, the policy reflects weight concerns from what people had been packing in boxes on those flights.
